현대전기차 ,테슬라 OTA

OTA(Over The Air)란 축압적으로 설명을 하자면

전자기기와 같은 제품의 기본적인 제어와 구동을 담당하는 소프트웨어 운영체제 업데이트의 방식 중 하나의 형태이다. Wi-Fi(와이파이)와 같은 무선인터넷을 사용하여 무선으로 펌웨어형태의 소프트웨어를 업데이트 하는 서비스기술이라고 생각한다. 현재에는  대부분의 PC 운영체제와 스마트폰 운영체제는 이 기능을 지원을 말한다.

그리고 최근엔 자동차에도 적용되고 있으며 테슬라의 여러차량들이 OTA를 이용해 지속적으로 차량 성능을 지속적으로 업데이트하고 있다. 테슬라의 소프트웨어펌웨어 업데이트에는 인테리어 변경을 제외한 모든것이 적용된다고 한다. 

 

현대차의 경우에도 21년도에 생산되는 전기차들에게 국산형 OTA서비스를 지급한다고 한다.

현대차 또한 소프트웨어펌웨어 업데이트에는 인테리어 변경을 제외한 모든것이 적용된다고 할 것이라고 여겨진다.

이러한 OTA서비스를 제공하게 되면 소프트웨에의 업데이트 만으로도, 자동차의 제로백을 단축시킬 수 있다고 본다. 그리고 업데이트로 인하여 충전시간의 감소를 획기적으로 줄일 수 있을것이라고 생각한다. 또한 원격제어, 안전보완 차량관리등 여러가지 측면에 있어서 자율주행 옵션들을 계속 업데이트해 완성해 나가고 있으며, 획기적일 것이라고 생각한다. 이러한 자율주행 옵션으로 또한 현대의 경우에는 디벨로퍼스(DEVELOPERS)서비스라고 여러 소프트웨어회사들과 협력을 맺고 있다. 디벨로퍼스란, 커넥티드카로부터 수집한 운행과 제원정보, 주행거리, 운전습관 등의 데이터를 API(Application Programming Interface) 형식으로 가공해 개인이나 법인사업자에게 제공하는 플렛폼이다. 이러한 플렛폼은 제휴사는 차량과 연계된 다양하고 혁신적인 서비스와 상품을 개발하게된다. 따라서 고객들 역시 이전보다 개인적이만 다양하고 고도화된 맞춤형 커넥티드카 서비스와 상품을 이용할 수 있으며 개개인들에게 기회를 통해 삶의 가치를 높일 수 있는 기회가 될 것으로 보일 것으로 예산된다. 이러한 플렛폼이  활성화 되면 데이터 공유를 활용한 스타트업 등 또한  자동차관련 서비스 업체의 엄청난 호황과  성장이 기대되고 있다.

또한 이러한 기술로 인하여 사고건수와 리콜수를 확 줄일수 있다는 생각을 한다. 

또한 이러한 기술이 도시 전반적인 영향을 주어, 미래에는 모빌리티시티와 같은개념의 지금까지와는 다른 생활패턴을 만들게 될 수 있다고 필자는 여겨있다.

 

이로인해 테슬라의 차량은 풀체인지의 개념이 없는 미래적이고 혁신적인 차량으로 여겨지며 다른 자동차 회사들도 조금씩 OTA를 시도하고 있다.

It is one of the methods of updating the software operating system in charge of basic control and operation of products such as electronic devices. I think it is a service technology that updates firmware type software wirelessly using wireless Internet such as Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi). Currently, most PC operating systems and smart phone operating systems say support this function.

And recently, it is also applied to automobiles, and several Tesla vehicles are constantly updating vehicle performance using OTA. Tesla's software firmware update applies everything except interior changes.

In the case of Hyundai Motor Company, it is said to provide domestic OTA service to electric cars produced in fiscal year 21.

It is believed that Hyundai Motor Company will also apply everything except interior changes to software firmware updates.

If such OTA service is provided, it is believed that the zero-back of automobiles can be shortened by only updating the software. And I think the reduction in charging time can be drastically reduced by the update. In addition, in various aspects such as remote control and safety supplement vehicle management, autonomous driving options are continuously updated and completed, and I think it will be groundbreaking.

With this autonomous driving option, in the case of Hyundai, it is partnering with several software companies called DEVELOPERS services. Developer is a platform that processes data such as driving and specification information, mileage, and driving habits collected from a connected car in an API (Application Programming Interface) format and provides it to individuals or corporate businesses. With this platform, affiliates will develop various and innovative services and products linked to vehicles. Therefore, customers can also use various and advanced customized connected car services and products more personally than before, and it is expected that it will be an opportunity for individuals to increase the value of life through opportunities. When such a platform is activated, a tremendous boom and growth of automobile related service companies such as startups using data sharing are expected.

Also, I think that the number of accidents and recalls can be drastically reduced by this technology.

In addition, I believe that these technologies will have an overall impact on the city, and in the future, the concept of mobility city can create a different life pattern than before.

 

Because of this, Tesla's vehicle is considered a futuristic and innovative vehicle without the concept of full change, and other automakers are gradually attempting OTA.
